Walmart Makes Fashion a Key Part of Its E-Commerce Strategy

Walmart is determined to make its website a fashion destination, and it is pursuing that goal through brand and celebrity partnerships, acquisitions, and advertising campaigns. It took some doing to get premium brands to sign on, but the initiative was a big success from a numbers standpoint: last year Walmart’s fashion group brought in somewhere between 550 and 600 new fashion brands.
