Walmart Is Shaking Up Associate Structure, Adopting New System
Walmart is changing up its associate structure by adopting new policies, increasing pay for some managers and cutting roles of others.
It’s also giving some managers “attitude cards” to help refresh associates on behaviors supported by the new program. The new system is called the “Great Workplace.”
“The idea is to have more ownership, decision making and authority closer to the front line,” a Walmart spokesman said.
