Target announced a new label on March 13 as part of a series of wellness icons made to maintain transparency about the chemicals in its products. The new “Target Clean” icon indicates products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and other chemicals.

The icon will be on product pages that feature household essentials, beauty and personal care, and baby categories on Target’s website this month and in April next month.

The measure aims to save guests time in their search for better-for-you products, Christina Hennington, Target’s senior vice president and general merchandise manager of essentials, beauty, hardlines and services, said in a statement.
