Target Increases Ad Services with Roundel Media Network

Target announced plans during this year’s NewFronts expo to rebrand its media network, once known as “Target Media Network.” Now called Roundel, it is expected to let clients know that its focus will be beyond just display ads on Target’s website.

Instead, Roundel will create campaigns and content for its clients, which include brands and agencies — including brands that aren’t sold in Target’s stores — and deliver them either to Target’s own website or to “brand-safe” external channels like Pinterest, PopSugar and NBCUniversal.
