Report: Amazon Mulling Plans to Nix HQ2 in Queens Amid Major Pushback

Amazon may be having second thoughts about putting one of its HQ2s in Queens after major pushback there from politicians, unions, and other locals. The plan is expected to bring 25,000 jobs to New York City, but politicians have complained about the subsidies given to Amazon to bring it to the city. The Washington Post claims Amazon is thinking twice about the plan.

The Post cites two anonymous sources who say Amazon has had internal discussions on whether to keep HQ2 in New York or whether to look for another location.
