Colby Beland is Vice President of Sales & Marketing for CaseStack, Inc., a leading provider of retail logistics and pioneer of collaborative retail freight consolidation. Upon joining CaseStack in 2010, he established a customer-focused team of business development executives that has grown revenues by five times, over the last seven years.
Beland holds a BSBA degree in Supply Chain Management from the Walton College of Business and has spent the last 20+ years immersed in multiple segments of the supply chain. In that time, he’s developed an intimate knowledge of retail freight consolidation, retailer vendor compliance, warehousing and transportation (small package, less-than- truckload, truckload, intermodal, etc.)
Recognized for his expertise in retail logistics, Beland is frequently sought by national and local media as a source in supply chain trends and is a regular contributor to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, NWA Business Journal, Bloomberg News, and other media outlets.
Beland’s experience and business savvy earned him an invitation to sit on a panel discussion as part of Global Center for Interdependence’s (GIC) Central Banking Series. He is also serves a guest lecturer at the University of Arkansas, is a board member of the University of Arkansas Supply Chain Management Research Center, was selected as the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2017 Pros to Know, and was a recipient of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal Forty under 40 award.
In 2016 Colby became a Certified Claims Professional-CCP, increasing his expertise and knowledge of the logistics industry. Prior to joining CaseStack, Beland served as Director of Strategic Solutions for ABF Freight System, Inc., a Corporate Account Executive for FedEx Services and as Director of Sales and Project Manager for International Packaged Systems.
