Leading Regular Folks Seminar Offers Valuable Leadership Insights
Former Walmart executive Russ Robertson offered his experience and insights on what it takes to be an effective leader during an afternoon of sharing and learning sponsored by Supplier Community, AON Invent, Arvest, and River Grille. Based on his recently released book, Leading Regular Folks, Robertson presented his three powerful principles to the diverse group of leaders and potential leaders at the Arvest Conference Room in Bentonville, AR.
The informative discussion-type presentation employed real life examples and usable steps to help participants apply these principles in real life situations, understanding that their success is largely dependent on their ability to accomplish goals and objectives through helping others meet their full potential.
Robertson’s approach to leadership is not just another round of rhetoric based on leadership principles, but an attitude-based approach that outlines what works and what doesn’t. His Leading Regular Folks program is based on a lifetime of experience and teaches participants how to inspire and motivate those around them through interaction, expectation, and respectful honesty.
