Kohl’s Is Bringing Emerging Labels into 50 Stores, and That’s Just the Start
Curated by Kohl’s is a program designed to discover emerging brands, largely through a partnership with Instagram and Facebook, and get those brands into stores. So far, only fifty stores (out of twelve hundred) are carrying the freshly-discovered brands, but Kohl’s CEO Michelle Gass is looking to scale the program. It’s all part of Kohl’s goal to attract more customers, particularly young ones, who are more likely to shop niche brands.
“Partnering with new, emerging brands is great for our customers, since they’re discovering something new, and for brands, Kohl’s can be a stage,” she said. “It’s really a win-win in my mind.”
