Dick’s Sporting Goods Bets On Women

Dick’s Sporting Goods is working to increase its popularity with women. Its efforts include an ad campaign championing women’s sports, a $5 million grant to the U.S. Soccer Foundation, a sponsorship of USA Softball, and changes at the store level. Dick’s Sporting Goods stores will soon be carrying a wider array of products for women and girls, including items from its private label brand Calia.

“Today is a proud moment for our company,” Dick’s President Lauren Hobart said in a statement.
