Many people would argue that the rise of e-commerce means the fall of traditional retail. But Chen Zhang, chief technology officer at JD.com, argues that technology means the future for traditional retail is actually bright. Brick-and-mortar retailers have far better insight into their customers and their stores, as well as an arsenal of new tools to continually improve the customer experience.
