With a new emphasis on food, convenience store chains such as 7-Eleven and Kwik Trip have emerged largely unscathed from a time marked by massive store closures and the rise of e-commerce. Their main selling point is convenience, as their names implies, and by offering more and better food, they are tapping into demand for options even speedier than fast food or the grocery store.
