Amazon Will Invest $40 Million in Robotics

Amazon recently announced that it plans to build a $40 million robotics innovation hub in Massachusetts. The hub will include space for corporate offices, research and development labs, and manufacturing. The new location will be in addition to and not a replacement of its Amazon Robotics site, which is also in Massachusetts.

Tye Brady, chief technologist at Amazon Robotics, says the new hub will allow Amazon to continue to build on its robotics research. “This will be a world-class facility, where our teams can design, build, program and ship our robots — all under the same roof…”
