Amazon Hints at Brick-and-Mortar Stores in Germany

GermanyRumors are flying after the head of Amazon’s German division hinted that the online giant could open brick-and-mortar stores in Germany. Amazon already runs numerous brick-and-mortar stores in the United States and Britain. But as to when physical Amazon stores might come to Germany, Amazon’s German head did not say.

“The fact is that we know that customers shop offline and that they like variety,” Ralf Kleber told German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, according to Reuters. He did not offer any information about when a brick-and-mortar store could happen.
